This test has been designed to assess the basic excel skills of a candidate. It tests the ability to use excel for data typing, sorting, filtering, and formatting. It also tests use of pivot tables, excel shortcuts, hyperlinks, password protection and other excel functions. The test consists of questions variable in their difficulty levels to accurately identify candidates that have basic knowledge of MS excel.
Shows high understanding of MS Excel functionalities like conversion of data types, formulas and functions, input basics, filtering data and pivot tables, shortcuts, saving to PDFs and password protection, creating hyperlinks, etc. Likely to be comfortable using the software to effectively organize data including project plans, budgets, current expenses and other information, analyze and record data to get accurate insights and execute integration of data with contacts to minimize effort.
Shows excellent understanding of MS Excel functionalities like shortcuts, pivot tables, hyperlinks, etc. Likely to be comfortable using the software for filtering and sorting data according to categories available, using shortcuts efficiently and creating hyperlinks.
Shows low understanding of MS Excel functionalities like password protection, saving to PDFs, view options, etc. May not be comfortable using MS Excel to protect data and convert to PDF securely without any loss of information.
Shows excellent understanding of MS Excel functionalities like formatting, formula, functions, etc. Likely to be comfortable working on the software to create high quality documents consisting of tables, charts, pictures and other advanced tools.
Shows an average understanding of MS Excel functionalities like formatting, formula, functions, etc. Moderately likely to be comfortable working on the software to apply correct functions for accurate and timely calculations in order to create aggregate reports using formula based techniques.
