Measuring Training Effectiveness
Understanding proficiency of candidates in the competencies they have been trained on.
World’s leading tyre manufacturer operating out of 69 facilities located in 18 countries, entered Indian market almost a decade ago. Through rapidly expanding distribution network, it has established itself as a prominent player.
The company has been investing a lot in employee training over the years and wanted to evaluate the effectiveness of the same to resonate with the employees better.
The firm faced the challenge of measuring the ROI of training of employees spread across the organization hierarchy, who have been in the system from a long time.
Another challenge faced by the company was on evaluating the factory employees with lower proficiency levels.
Wanted a detailed reflection on proficiency of candidates across six verticals in the competencies that they have been trained on.
Deployed in-depth sensing using focused group discussions, visionary interviews to produce a competency framework and carried out industry benchmarking against it.
Custom behavioral assessment was deployed along with virtual and interactive tools such as Mettl Personality Profiler, Role Play, Case Studies followed by a management discussion as part of five Blended Assessment Centers carried out in three key locations within India.
Development plans were prepared by a team of qualified assessors who provided feedback on each competency, for around 100+ employees across multiple functions ranging from sales and marketing to R&D and plant engineers
The ROI of the trainings was assessed via detailed report reflecting upon the performance of all 100 candidates on the 6 specified competencies , which ultimately helped the firm understand their talent pool and invest in the right people.
Based on the overall Assessment Center and IDPs , the candidates were given developmental inputs as part of the accelerate development program.
