Test Description

The Mettl Personality Map (MPM) is an evidence-based personality assessment tool which offers in-depth measurement of 28 personality traits and behavioral tendencies, broadly classified in four factors. These 28 facets span across a wide domain of personality and will be mapped to companies’ or job roles’ specific performance models or behavioral competencies to obtain the optimal prediction of job success.

The brief description of four factors are:

  1. Self: Tendency to remain strong and positive towards oneself and display positive character strengths at work.

  2. People: Tendency to understand and interact with people around them at work.

  3. Goal: Tendency to plan, pursue and achieve one’s goals

  4. Lead: Tendency move forward by proactively taking charge and ownership of things around oneself.  


Rigor of the Tool:


Median reliability is 0.75 at facet level and 0.90 at factor level.


Convergent validity estimates range from 0.3 to 0.51 and criterion validity estimates range from 0.25 to 0.51.
