This test has been designed to assess the ability of a candidate to work using a computer. It tests if an individual is aware of the functions in a computer including basic hardware, network, security and system software. The test uses variable difficulty levels of questions to accurately identify candidates who understand computer fundamentals.

Shows a very low understanding of Computer basics and concepts related to software, hardware, utility software, number system, etc. May not be able to effectively understand Computer basics and the set of programs that make the computer function.
Operating Systems: Moderate
Shows an average understanding of Operating Systems and concepts related to the types of files, process attributes, states and process control blocks, process architecture and management, memory management, device management, etc. May moderately be able to effectively understand OS and manage computer hardware, software resources, and provides common services for computer programs.
Network and Security: High
Shows a high understanding of network, security and concepts related to network terminology, network components, network devices, privacy, malware and firewall, etc. Likely to be able to effectively prevent and monitor unauthorized access, misuse, modification, or denial of a computer network and network-accessible resources.
Email and Internet: Very High
Shows a very high understanding of email management, video conferencing, internet domains, internet service providers, internet connectivity and protocols, etc. Likely to be able to effectively use electronic mail and internet for exchanging messages between people and for other purposes.
Computer Practicals: Very High
Shows a very high understanding of Computer practicals and concepts related to Windows XP, MS Office, troubleshooting, etc. Likely to be able to effectively use software applications like MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint and troubleshooting methods to achieve the project objective
