There are two major types of tests that psychometric psychology is concerned with, namely aptitude tests and personality tests.

Psychometric test psychology involves the development of theories, techniques, assessment tools, and systematized models that can connect observable psychological phenomena (such as psychological attributes and responses on an aptitude test) to certain outcomes.
