Image Proctoring

Image proctoring refers to taking snapshots/live images of test-takers’ screens and their presence in front of the camera at random or regular intervals. These images taken through the system’s webcams are time-stamped and stored on the cloud for a more convenient review at any desired time.

Image proctoring is a type of auto proctoring technique that captures test-takers’ photos in real-time when they appear for a test. The images captured are then matched with a pre-stored photo to assess whether the right person is taking the test. Image proctoring also comes in handy to check for the presence of any unauthorized gadget or an unauthorized person near the exam-taker who can help him/her cheat.
