Cognitive Assessments include questions designed to assess candidates’ potential to use cognitive abilities and solve complex problems or acquire new knowledge. Many entities now leverage cognitive tests to improve the quality of admissions/ hires, as these cognitive assessments help filter out irrelevant candidates from a vast talent pool.

Cognitive assessments evaluate a candidate’s cognitive skills. These cognitive tests use a series of questions to assess cognitive abilities, comprising quantitative aptitude questions, language proficiency tests, learning agility assessments, critical thinking questions and attention-to-detail questions. They are a form of psychometric tests created to find people more likely to excel at work and more adept at achieving their goals.
