Numerical Aptitude

Numerical aptitude defines an individual’s ability to perform tasks that require working with data and numbers. An applicant with a high numerical aptitude can perform complex computations, perceive and process numbers, and analyze data with the utmost ease. Numerical aptitude is often associated with accounting, sales, engineering or finance jobs.

Numerical reasoning tests are designed to assess a test taker’s ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, analyze graphs and tabular data, carry out business estimates, analyze/evaluate the business scenario in a given time frame, and solve problems with utmost concentration. A numerical ability test consists of a piece of text/table/graphs outlining the question’s premise, followed by either two or four answer options. An individual must identify which answer option is correct out of the given answer options.
