Design thinking is essential in the current work scenario as it integrates imaginative and critical thinking that allows data and ideas to be organized and implemented along with precise decision-making. There is, therefore, a need to find potential hires with design thinking expertise. That is where Mercer | Mettl’s online design thinking test comes in handy.
Mercer | Mettl’s design thinking assessment is a pre-employment hiring test that employers can use during the job screening process to ascertain candidates' design thinking skills to determine their suitability for employment. This design thinking exam has been designed to assess candidates' knowledge to apply concepts related to design thinking. It tests an individual’s ability to deliver innovative solutions according to the iterative process of the design thinking methodology, identified through studies across different design domains, of design cognition and design activities in both laboratory and natural contexts.
Mercer | Mettl’s design thinking test will help hiring managers select candidates with the best caliber. In addition, they can conduct assessments in a secure, controlled environment with features such as webcam proctoring, limited system access, and window violation. As a result, screening and engaging eligible candidates for the next stage of the hiring process seems easy with the design thinking exam. In addition, the test result reports offer a holistic insight into the candidates' performance, which is crucial in making objective hiring decisions.
Designed by subject matter experts, this online design thinking exam provides an in-depth review of candidate's domain-specific knowledge. The skills of the candidate are evaluated on three levels - easy, medium and difficult. This test contains 24 questions to be completed in 30 minutes.
