English Communication Test

An English communication test is a skills test to assess a candidate’s English communication ability. The test comprises verbal ability assessment, listening skills assessment, writing skills assessment and reading skills assessment. An English communication test analyses prospective employees’ voice and accent, the grasp of the English language and grammar, tone and intonation, email writing etiquette and clarity of speech, etc.

Companies undertake an English communication test to measure candidates’ proficiency in the English language. An employee can’t execute the desired duties without a discernible command over the preferred language of communication and its grammar, which is usually English. Employers can’t afford employees speaking or writing wrong English or making trivial errors in their verbal or written communication.
