Mettl人格分析器​基于人格五因素模型(简称“FFM”)开发。FFM模型强调,可以根据五大广泛的人格特质来描述“人类性格”。Mettl的科学家们在原有的“五大”人格因素模型基础上更进一步,开发了26“量表”或窄面建构(narrower facet-like constructs),即对原有模型进行更为详细的划分,这也是我们评估工具的基石。这些量表涵盖了广泛的人格领域,并将映射到公司或工作角色的具体绩效模型,或行为能力,以便对求职者是否能在工作上取得成功作出最佳预测

“五大”人格特质被证明可以预测重要的工作相关结果,如工作绩效、一个人出现职业倦怠的可能性、可训练性和随后的工作满意度。这五个因素包括:

  1. 外向性 (性格外向/充满活力 vs. 孤僻/缄默);
  2. 经验开放性 (有创造力/好奇 vs. 按部就班/谨慎);
  3. 情绪稳定性 (稳健/自信 vs. 敏感/神经质);
  4. 亲和性 (友好/富有同情心 vs. 冷漠/刻薄);和
  5. 尽责性 (高效/有条理 vs. 随和/粗心大意)
